Cuba and Vietnam set up biopharmaceutical joint venture

Havana, May 20, 2025.- Cuba and Vietnam have signed an agreement on Monday, establishing a joint venture between the Cuban BCF SA, a subsidiary of BioCubaFarma, and the Vietnamese company Genfarma Holdings.

The signing was carried out in the presence of Miguel Díaz-Canel Bermúdez, President of Cuba, and Do Xuan Tuyen, Deputy Minister of Health of Vietnam.

The Bolivarian Alliance for the Peoples of Our America-People's Trade Treaty (ALBA-TCP) expressed its firm support and absolute solidarity with Cuba in the face of the new actions by the Government of the United States. The heads of State and Government of the integration bloc, in a Special Declaration for the Dignity of Migrants, rejected the acts of hostility and economic coercion imposed by the Government of the United States, which seek maximum pressure to overthrow the Cuban Revolution.
