Cuba advocates in Geneva to stop digital divide in education
Cuba defended at the UN Human Rights Council the inclusive access to information and communication technologies to eliminate the digital divide that impacts the field of education. We agree that it is important to reduce the digital divide and the impediments to access technology. However, this principle should not be restricted to families and communities within countries; but also between countries, Mirthia Julia Brossard said in the continuation of the debates of the 50th session of the body based in this Swiss city.
