The Meeting of Cuban Residents in Europe (ECRE), Berlin-2022, on Sunday condemned the economic, commercial, and financial blockade of the United States against the Caribbean island and demanded the end of that policy and all aggressions.In the final statement of the three-day forum, which ended with a meeting of solidarity at the Brandenburg Gate, participants ratified their commitment to the frontal struggle against the blockade imposed by Washington for more than 60 years, a policy they described as illegal and criminal.

United Nations, November 3, 2021.- Cuba scored a new victory on Thursday in its struggle against the United States blockade by achieving overwhelming support at the United Nations (UN) for a resolution passed by 185 votes in favor.

The resolution was only opposed by the United States and its staunched ally Israel, while Brazil and Ukraine abstained.

Havana, August 7, 2022.- The expressions of solidarity with Cuba continue after the fire of great proportions in two fuel tanks in the industrial zone of the province of Matanzas, east of the capital, the Foreign Ministry reported.

According to the source, messages from several nations express regret and support to the island in view of the tragedy that left so far more than 120 injured, one dead, while 17 people are missing.

Women and men from Bolivia, Chile, Colombia, Ecuador, Mexico, Panama, Peru and the Dominican Republic were part of the 27th Latin American and Caribbean Brigade of Voluntary Work and Solidarity with Cuba. Such a solidarity brigade, made up of 80 people, was established on Monday at the Julio Antonio Mella International Camp, located in the western province of Artemisa.

Havana, July 29, 2022.- The electoral bodies at different levels continue to be formed in Cuba on Friday, as part of the preparations for next September's popular referendum on the new Family Code.

Last week, the National People’s Power Assembly (ANPP, Parliament) approved to take to this democratic exercise the 25th version of the legal text, for which the National Electoral Council and its institutions at different levels will develop training actions and other preparations.
