Raúl and Díaz-Canel lead May Day celebrations in Havana

Havana, May 1, 2025.-  With the participation of Army General Raúl Castro Ruz, leader of the Cuban Revolution, and Miguel Díaz-Canel Bermúdez, First Secretary of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Cuba and President of the Republic, the parade for International Workers' Day took place in the Plaza de la Revolución in this capital.

Distinguished Cuban Diplomat Abelardo Moreno Fernández Passes Away

Havana, April 19, 2025 – Abelardo Moreno Fernández, a distinguished Cuban diplomat, passed away this morning in the capital at the age of 80.

Cuban students will reenact the traditional March of the Torches on Monday to pay tribute to National Hero Jose Marti on his 170th birthday, on January 28. Members of the capital’s youth and student organizations will gather at the steps of the University of Havana to march to the Fragua Martiana (Museum of Marti’s Forge), where teenage Marti was imprisoned for his pro-independence ideas.

Havana, January 2, 2025.- Cuba's top authorities sent a message to the people just hours before celebrating the 66th anniversary of the triumph of the Revolution, this January 1st.

The Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Maldives sends message of felicitations on the occasion of the Liberation Day of Cuba.

The Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Maldives, Dr. Abdulla Khaleel sends message of felicitations to Minister for Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Cuba, Bruno Eduardo Rodríguez Parrilla on the occasion of the Liberation Day of Cuba.

 The Prime Minister of Jamaica, the Most Honourable Andrew Holness, addressed a message of congratulations to the President of Cuba Miguel Díaz-Canel Bermúdez on the occasion of the 66th anniversary of the triumph of the Cuban Revolution.
