Cuba and the European Union agree on actions in the areas of cooperation, trade and investment for sustainable development

Cuba and the European Union agree on joint actions in view of the extraterritorial application of the US blockade

Cuba and the European Union will hold talks on Sustainable Development

Havana, April 24, 2024. On Thursday, April 25, Cuba and the European Union will hold talks on Sustainable Development, in Brussels, Belgium, under the Political Dialogue and Cooperation Agreement concluded between both parties in 2016 and put into force, provisionally, in 2017, which is in its fourth implementation cycle. This dialogue will continue the one held in June 2022, in Havana.

Dear President Xiomara Castro;

The Assembly of the African Union expresses serious concern about the continuous and illegal economic, commercial and financial blockade imposed on the Cuban government and people; expresses serious concern about the arbitrary inclusion of Cuba in the unilateral list of countries that allegedly sponsor terrorism, which has further exacerbated the financial prohibitions and restrictions to Cuba emanating from the blockade; therefore, calls for the removal of Cuba from that list;

Cuban Prime Minister reaffirms commitment to expand relations with EEU

Havana, February 3, 2024.- Cuba's Prime Minister Manuel Marrero reaffirmed his country's commitment to comply with decisions made and agreements reached in the most recent session of the Eurasian Intergovernmental Council in order to expand bilateral ties.

Havana, July 4 , 2023.- Cuban Vice President Salvador Valdes on Tuesday praised CARICOM’s achievements highlighting Cuba´s support in the call for the end to the hostile and unjust U.S. blockade.

Cuba in Celac rejects inclusion in the US terrorism list

Santiago de Chile, May 15, 2023.- The Cuban Minister of Finance and Prices, Vladimir Regueiro, rejected here today the unjustified inclusion of his country on the US list of alleged sponsors of terrorism, which reinforces the consequences of the blockade.
