Egyptian newspaper condemns US threats against Cuba
The Egyptian newspaper Al Ahram today criticized US threats against Cuba, following the aggression against Venezuela and the kidnapping of its president Nicolás Maduro. Journalist Kamal Gaballa emphasized that with the aggression against the South American nation, the White House is also targeting Cuba.

Foreign Ministry Spokesperson Mao Ning underscored, responding to a question from Prensa Latina, her nation’s opposition to foreign interference in the affairs of the Caribbean island. “We once again urge the United States to end the blockade, sanctions, and all forms of coercive measures against Cuba, as this would benefit regional peace and stability.”

The Cuban Lone Star Flag was projected last night onto the Sheraton Grand Hotel, a landmark on the city's skyline, and onto the Aspire Tower, also known as the Doha Torch, a 300-meter-tall skyscraper.
